Ja-heeee-zus christ talk about hot! An absoloutley scorching day meant that the annual gathering of Dubs an what not at Tatton Park turned out to be a corker!
This show is always a good one to go to seens as it combines both air and water cooled, pretty much like All Types but a bit closer to home for us!
The day started with the usual meeting points of Charnock and Lymm, and from then on we made our way to Tatton. Mrs Edwardson of Janet kindly gave us 10 clubstand passes, so with the H2O lot over in the club parking area, the Unphased division got to park right in the thick of things, and next to the food vans and bars which of course is always a bonus!
The club stand was arranged and out came the BBQ’s followed by copius amounts of chilling out and wandering round taking in the sights and sounds!
Once the show was drawing to a close we fought our way through the heavy crowds and made the journey to the usual jaunt of Mascrat for grubbage and dwinkies! Of course that wasn’t really that straightforward, what entailed on the great table of Un-h2o-alot was nothing short of mayhem! Pea fights FTW!
After the pea fight had calmed down, well “calmed down” i should say it was time for another chill and various bits of banter. Due to myself, Billy and Todd being skint, we didn’t eat, that was until the silly peoples of Masrat brought out another mixed grill. Whose was it? No one owned up so of course me myself and toddlene scoffed the lot! Free grub FTW!
A good day with plenty of pics taken, shed loads of stuff to see and plenty of top quality cars to drool over, including mine *cough*. (Sorry had to be said). The weather was also a massive bonus along with the fact that we got some free clubstand passes off Janet! Thanks luv – dey were boss laaaa!!
